Captain Gregory Laxton CSC RAN is senior engineer in the Royal Australian Navy Surface Force Command, which comprises the RAN’s major fleet units, including helicopter landing ships, destroyers, frigates and replenishment ships. He was formerly director of the Guided Missile Frigate Systems Program Office (FFGSPO) within CASG, Department of Defence. He was awarded a Conspicuous Service Cross for “outstanding achievement in the field of Navy Program Management and supporting innovation” in the 2018 Australian Queen’s Birthday Honours.
