Josh Wineera is a retired New Zealand Army Lieutenant Colonel, having served as the second-in-command of 16 Field Regiment and also as the New Zealand defence attaché to the Pacific. He is a former lecturer at Massey University’s Centre for Defence and Security Studies and is currently a visiting fellow at the University of Canterbury’s Pacific Regional Security Hub. He is a director and co-founder of Latent, a company specialising in partnerships for advanced defence and national security technologies.
