Dr William Hoverd is a Senior Lecturer at Massey University’s Centre for Defence and Security Studies. He is a social scientist, and teaches research based papers at post- graduate level both extramurally and into the NZDF Command and Staff College. His research interests include critical research into New Zealand security issues and religious diversity. Dr Hoverd is the editor of the book New Zealand National Security: Challenges, Trends and Issues. He was Guest Editor of Line of Defence Magazine’s National Security Conference special edition (Winter 2018).
