Dean Kidd is Safety and Security Manager for Auckland Live, part of Regional Facilities Auckland (RFA), an Auckland Council controlled organisation (CCO). He is also a past Chairman of the ASIS International New Zealand Chapter (2017-18). His ‘Weapons Attack at an Iconic Venue’ training exercise at Auckland’s Aotea Centre in 2017 was a New Zealand first, and he is regarded as a leading figure in the security of public places in New Zealand.
