Middlemore Hospital was founded in 1947 and is comprised of a number of buildings of various ages. The Scott Building, which has 258 beds and houses acute medical, surgical and coronary care patients, was constructed between 2000 and 2006. The Fire Alarm system within the Scott Building has reached End of Life (EOL) and requires replacement.
CMDHB has determined that the existing Type 7 fire alarm system is to be replaced with a Siemens Cerberus PRO® FS720 fire alarm system and the EWIS panel is to be replaced with a new Tyco QE90 EWIS panel.
