Global Security has announced its 1st April purchase of Auckland-based security guarding, patrols, and alarm response provider Wings Security.

Operational transition between Wings Security and Global Security has been completed following over two months of planning by the respective management teams.

“The meticulous planning and dedication of our teams have culminated in a seamless operational transition, setting the stage for an exciting new chapter,” stated Global Security’s General Manager Nathan Cray.

The announcement stated that Wings Security “is a long standing, high quality business, principally represented within the greater Auckland Airport area, with a portfolio of large, high quality clients.”

According to its LinkedIn profile, Wings Security had been operating since 1999.

The acquisition follows the successful purchase by Global Security of Calibre Security (previously East Side Security) and Ironman Security over the previous 24 months, which substantially increased Global Security’s presence in the Mt Wellington, Panmure, and East Tamaki areas of Auckland.

“With recent successes like the integration of Calibre Security and Ironman Security, we’ve significantly strengthened our presence in key regions over the past 24 months,” said Nathan.

“I’m thrilled to welcome the talented staff and valued clients of Wings Security into our Global Security family. Here’s to continued growth and success as we forge ahead together!”

“We are very happy to welcome both the staff and clients of Wings Security to the Global Security family,” said the announcement, “and look forward to continuing long term, quality relationships.”
